Y’all, I am intensely proud and flattered and humbled (yes, while also being proud) to have A Fall in Autumn listed as a finalist for the 2020 Manly Wade Wellman Award from the North Carolina Speculative Fiction Foundation. I don’t even know what to say. This is an incredible honor, and very validating, and I am so grateful to be listed alongside such stellar writers and stunning work.
I am especially delighted to see T. Frohock’s Where Oblivion Lives listed here, because she is an absolutely phenomenal writer and, though we’ve only met a couple of times at conventions, an incredible person. I am so lucky to get to meet (and, I hope, learn from) such amazing people in this field. Wow. Today is a good day.
